The Rush
One day,
In the realm of my dream,
I saw a beam.
Curious, I followed on,
with a yawn.
I found myself in a cave,
Dark yet rave,
And in its midst,
I heard a melody.
It was pure soul!
A soft humming,
with a hint of drumming.
It had its highs and the lows.
Yet was tireless and constant.
What could it be?
I just had to explore!
With each step to the core,
The gentleness was no more!
“Strange”, I said.
Further on I went
and reached a vent.
There, in front of me,
was the source of my mystery.
The air misty and heavy echoed
the thunderous call of the waterfall.
I felt a cascade of healing,
rushing through
All my senses & my wounds,
through my mind,
through my heart,
through my past,
through my present,
through my future.
Endless, ceaseless,
singing & pouring joy,
like the touch of Lord on your soul.
An exquisite memory was etched in my mind,
as there nothing more precious,
than the sound of rushing positivity
SPLASHED!!!
