      • Can you see the reblog button on my blog? I have it set to be on yet I have never received a reblog. Could you advise me and if it is not there do you know how to add it? I followed the forums and customer service does not answer for the past several months.

      • Hi, apologize for the late response. No I do not see the reblog button. You should be able to introduce this to your blog by tweaking the widget settings under WP admin >Appearance>Widget. I am using a free theme. I did encounter this issue of unavailability for some of the themes.

      • I do not see anywhere in appearances and widget that mentions reblog at all. I clicked every possible option and no description had anything to do with the word reblog within it. I have seen reblog on my own posts on my mac in firefox if I am logged out and click my own post but not on safari, yet on my iphone I see it on safari but not on chrome. A couple of other people said similar, they see it on different browsers. WP does not have anyone working there and their forums or a google search is outdated. I have heard that some themes are better options but I constantly am swamped with things and in light of such I am afraid I might be spending a day looking through themes and going through a set up all day. Is there somewhere specific where I should see something related to a reblog widget? I have my settings saying it is to be displayed and nobody has reblogged me except one time.

      • Humm, I was using a Firefox browser when I visited your blog.

        If you checked the dashboard >WP admin>appearance>widget & did not find the reblog button, then probably the best option would be to change the theme. I went through the process of trial and error with around 10 themes before finally settling down with with the current theme. This is the bad side of free version of WordPress šŸ˜¦

      • It is odd as WP techs can see it which does not help me. I have ppl wanting to reblog me but can’t. I have press this and that only displays sparingly. I have reblog set to on and what you said had no option. I wrote back to WP as I said I had 7 ppl this week say they can’t see it and one that could but not on all browser. I also mainly use Firefox on my mac and can see it there but not on safari, yet can see it on safari on my iphone but not on chrome. I hope they fix it as I would easily have 3-5 times the amount of views. I figure I have to go through a change but I am so backed up daily and keep finding myself getting any time to do anything and I have books to self publish. šŸ™‚

      • The tech got back to me and said now he has tinkered at work and home, sometimes he sees it and then it disappears. He said yea it could be a theme issue but they are a pain to start up and I could possibly spend a day switching around or I could use a theme that a follower uses that always has the reblog button that is a free wp site. He said there are paid bloggers and ones that got a paid that are having similar issues. IDK but I have to leave shortly and deal with it later.

I remember when I was not writing as many words and not using pics and it was still a bit of a pain to switch, the avatar placement changes or is not available and each has their own issues. I checked on two other browsers and everybody whom I can see their reblog I saw on other browsers.

    • @vgabow – hi thanks for dropping by. I am a self taught artist. Art has been very sporadic. With marraige, kid, work, responsibilities, i had lost touch with my creative side. It is only recently that i rediscovered this side of me, thanks to my sister. She rekindled my lost soul. I am so grateful šŸ™‚
