The Rush

The Rush

The Rush

One day,
In the realm of my dream,
I saw a beam.
Curious, I followed on,
with a yawn.

I found myself in a cave,
Dark yet rave,
And in its midst,
I heard a melody.

It was pure soul!
A soft humming,
with a hint of drumming.
It had its highs and the lows.
Yet was tireless and constant.
What could it be?

I just had to explore!
With each step to the core,
The gentleness was no more!
“Strange”, I said.
Further on I went
and reached a vent.

There, in front of me,
was the source of my mystery.
The air misty and heavy echoed
the thunderous call of the waterfall.

I felt a cascade of healing,
rushing through
All my senses & my wounds,
through my mind,
through my heart,
through my past,
through my present,
through my future.
Endless, ceaseless,
singing & pouring joy,
like the touch of Lord on your soul.

An exquisite memory was etched in my mind,
as there nothing more precious,
than the sound of rushing positivity

The Fiery Fall

The Fiery Falls

The Fiery Fall

Flow, flow, I say!

Let the water rush!

Let it gush!

Rage away!

Trash the harsh stones.

Shape them like they are your own.

Surge though the crevasses.

Nudge the passes.

Purge the furrow.

Run like there is no tomorrow.

Today is your day.

Leave the fears at bay.

Leap over the horizon.

Like a soul reborn.

The Water Maiden

The Water Maiden

The Water Maiden

Somewhere,

In the depth of the night,

When the stars were at sight,

When the moon shone bright,

And fought with darkness with all her might!

When the ocean was no more a fright,

When the waves caressed the shore,

ready to be his bride.

When nature sang her lullaby,

There arose a maiden,

slow & steady yet elegantly.

Her garb was like white fire,

flickering gently in tune with the breeze.

Her hair shone like a thousand suns.

She gild over the ocean graciously,

twisting and turning effortlessly,

to nature’s melody,

forming bright lit waves exquisitely.

All stood still in awe of her beauty

A true vision she was, in all clarity

She is unseen by many

Granting audience is a rarity

But she is a part of nature you see

Connect with nature

And she’ll make you privy

By The Shore

By The Shore

By The Shore

There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.
Quote – Lord Byron

Symphony Of Colours

Symphony Of Colours

Symphony Of Colours

Artist that I am,

I just had to wave my brush,

To let the vision rush

And let my hands prance,

to the tune of nature.

Enchanted, I frolicked with colours.

I filled my pallet with lively hues,

Yellow, pink, green, orange

and so many more,

ensuing her cues.

Prance did the colours,

with every stroke that touched the canvas

They merged, surged & purged,

moved in and out of shadows and lights,

to weave a rainbow of joy.

Here in lies the reflection of my mind

My thoughts, my dream, my vision,

the depths of my heart,

that hums the symphony of colours

The Fuchsia Meadow

The Fuchsia Meadow

The Fuchsia Meadow

Dear nature, bright & sweet,

Do you hear my heart beat?

Gleaming fields,

Happiness do yield,

With a glance

At every bloom

At every plume

At every blade

Joy and bliss

Just does not fade!

Yin & Yang

Yin & Yang

Yin & Yang

This Digital Art is dedicated to my hubby Ramakrishnan Parthasarthy We are as different as the sun and the Moon.We are apart yet follow each other just like the cycle of nature. Literally!
Yin & Yang is a Chinese concept that talks about how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.

Out In The Wilderness

Out in the Wilderness copy

Have you wandered in the wilderness, the sagebrush desolation,
The bunch-grass levels where the cattle graze?
Have you whistled bits of rag-time at the end of all creation,
And learned to know the desert’s little ways?
Have you camped upon the foothills, have you galloped o’er the ranges,
Have you roamed the arid sun-lands through and through?
Have you chummed up with the mesa? Do you know its moods and changes?
Then listen to the Wild — it’s calling you.

– An except from the poem The Call Of The Wild – Poem by Robert William

Autumn

Autumn , she is special,

for she is filled with so many hues,

red, yellow, orange & brown!

She paints a lovely picture,

so delicate, it is to view.

She saves the best for last,

before she descends into the chill

Nice Little Insults

F Word_Cuss.jpg

Are you one of those people who use the the ‘F’ word to insult. Movies and television series have made us creatively infertile. Read on if you want to know how to mask the direct usage of the word not to be named.

Here are some classy examples from a time gone by:

“He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.”~Winston Churchill

“A modest little person, with much to be modest about.”~Winston Churchill

“I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.”~Clarence Darrow

“He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary.”~William Faulkner (about Ernest Hemingway)

“Poor Faulkner. Does he really think big emotions come from big words?”~Ernest Hemingway (about William Faulkner)

“Thank you for sending me a copy of your book; I’ll waste no time reading it.”~Moses Hadas

“He can compress the most words into the smallest idea of any man I know.”~Abraham Lincoln

“I’ve had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn’t it.”~Groucho Marx

“I didn’t attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.”~Mark Twain

“He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends.”~Oscar Wilde

“I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend…If you have one.”~George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill

“Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second…If there is one.”~Winston Churchill, in response.

“I feel so miserable without you; it’s almost like having you here.”~Stephen Bishop

“He is a self-made man and worships his creator.”~John Bright

“I’ve just learned about his illness. Let’s hope it’s nothing trivial.”~ Irvin Cobb

“He is not only dull himself, he is the cause of dullness in others.”~Samuel Johnson

“He is simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up.”~Paul Keating

“He had delusions of adequacy.”~Walter Kerr

“There’s nothing wrong with you that reincarnation won’t cure.”~Jack Leonard

“He has the attention span of a lightning bolt. “~Robert Redford

This Guy Got High On 52 Drugs Then Drew These Trippy Self-Portraits

Bryan Lewis Saunders is a D.C. based artist who has drawn more than 8,000 self-portraits; one for every day of the last 21 years. He’s also taken a whole lot of drugs. The results? Pretty interesting. Check it out:

Some of these are terrifying, some absurd, some attractive. Never the less, the results are intriguing.

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day!

For a little lassie,

Daddy means many things.

For,

he is the mountain that holds her;

the sun that keeps her warm;

the moon that watches over her while she sleeps;

the wind that helps her fly;

the tree that keeps her grounded;

the North Star that shows her the way, when all is not well;

the music that assures her , it will be alright;

the wave that comes crashing her enemies.

Be it in the depths of sorrow or the height of happiness

he is sure to be there!

Thnak you both! 😀

In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another
human being. We should all be thankful for those people
who rekindle the inner spirit.

The more connections you and your lover make, not just between your bodies, but between your minds, your hearts, and your souls, the more you will strengthen the fabric of your relationship, and the more real moments you will experience together.
